Post Winter Storm Octavia

Well Winter Storm Octavia didn't pack as much of a punch as the weather experts we're predicting for North West Tennessee. In Newbern we had approximately 1" of sleet between 10pm Sunday night through 2:30pm Monday afternoon, a few snow flurries mixed off and on. A bit different than the 6" to 8" of snow the experts we're predicting. With 1" of sleet on the roads a majority of businesses and all schools we're closed today and tomorrow being the same.
